Your UArts Gmail & the UArts Portal
The UArts portal is a hub of information that provides you with access to resources like Student Self-Service, Gmail, eAccounts and Canvas.
Your Account Information
You’re required to use your UArts portal account for all enrollment processes, including registering for classes.
To access the UArts portal, use the username and password provided to you when you were accepted to UArts.
You can also access your UArts Gmail account by logging in directly at gmail.com. You will need to use your full email address as your username, including @uarts.edu.

Laptop Requirement
All students are required to have a laptop. See UArts’ recommendations and minimum requirements for your particular program.
Free Software Access
Students are eligible for free software, such as all of the Adobe Creative Cloud, Ableton Live, Final Cut, Rhino and more! Learn more about what software will be available to you. You will receive instructions on how to access and install software during New Student Orientation.
You’ll have access to various print, copy and media resources across campus to support your academic success.
Media Resources
You can check out specialty equipment, like digital cameras and tripods for certain academic programs. The equipment room is located in Terra Hall, Room 1202, and reservations can be made online. Before you make your first reservation, be sure to visit Media Resources to set up your rental account.
