Student Financial Services (SFS) administers scholarships and grants, helps you apply for loans, and works with students and families to structure payment plans.
Our staff of trained financial aid counselors are here to help you at every step of the process. We encourage you to meet with us to talk about your award package.

Yes, you can share access through the online platform by clicking Add an Authorized Party and adding users’ email addresses and names to grant access. Visit uarts.edu/billing for more details, or contact us.

Financial aid is generally disbursed during the first week of classes. You should arrive with sufficient funds to purchase books, supplies and any other items you need to start the semester. Also, be sure to finalize your award. (See “Finalizing Financial Aid,” below.)

Unless otherwise noted, all financial aid awarded by UArts for the fall and spring semesters is disbursed in two installments. One half of the total annual award is distributed each semester and applied toward the charges on your university student account (tuition and fees, university housing charges, and/or other university charges).

Finalizing Financial Aid
If you’re receiving federal loans (like a federal Direct Stafford Loan), you must complete a Master Promissory Note and entrance counseling to finalize your financial aid award. Review detailed instructions or contact us for assistance.

Students are automatically billed for health insurance. If you have your own coverage, be sure to complete the online health insurance form to remove the charge from your bill. Learn more about health insurance at UArts.
